Eh, I dont mine the new look, just like the old one, it will take some getting used to. The poll bars seem annoyingly brighter then they should be though, other then that I dont mind it.

You can lookup where you were hosting your old avatar using http://www.gamesas.com/avatar.php, which you can then upload to the boards.

I found out what the problem was.

Anyway, who are you?

I just switched it over to the IP.Board to see how it looked and I like that one better.

So what is the exact limit on characters for a signature?

I seem to get contradictory information as when I go to the change signiture page it says at the bottom:
Signature RestrictionsYour signature may contain: * Any number images * Images of any size * Any number of URLs * Any number of lines
But that is not true as I just try and add a few links and I'm denied.

Except it's not new

it's been here for a while, at least since the last major update. (2 -> 3)

So, noticed something:

People using Facebook Connect get a profile picture (their facebook picture) whereas profile picture is disabled in general. Will Profile Picture be coming back for all users or will Facebook Connect linking for profile picture be disabled again?

Do the image and media buttons do anything? (Apart from surrounding the link in or [img][/img])

Did you try out the IP.Board theme? We now have an official alternative to the gamesas theme

This. Seems like all we ever do is mod the stuff they make. Games, forums, what's next? Do I want to know?

I like it, still similar to the old one but just a bit sleeker looking.

Now if only we could add a couple more emoticons......

I like the light grey writing on a brown board. good color scheme.

Unlike yourself, I find dark text on a light background to be an eyestrain/eyesore. The IPBoard thing is... *shudders* I'm not using it.

Meh, I don't mind it but I'm not a fan of the fact that the colour of pinned threads and regular threads are the same.

Though, it's a very small gripe.

Dear Lord what has happened to my precious forum.

I much prefer the old look. THis one seems too big and...."flat" for my tastes.

Yeah, I agree with that, some demarcation line would be nice to save having to hunt for the first thread.

Overall I like these new forum looks, they seem a bit smoother in use - although I didn't have problems with the prior forums. The new moderator boards are sleek and shiny as well, even down to an issue of the new Mark 10 Banhammers, all in all a good update.

I've disliked the mechanics of the forums since the first major overhaul. I get slow, stuttery scrolling on almost any browser I use. I greatly prefer the old beige forum color - so much easier on the eyes and worked so much better.

Just got home from school.

Hate the new look. It messed up my stylish themes too. Looks terrible.

I need negative image of IP.Board theme. Or tan back. :) It isn't that new themes are bad, they are actually very nice. But I prefer natural or darker themes and on Opera, scrolling with new theme is beyond sluggish. Background image disappears as I scroll and it's causing major lags. Firefox doesn't have this issue.

Meh, change is always a little weird at first. I'll get used to it though. :D

No performance problems here either.

The forums back then were actually alot smoother to scroll through if you were using the fire fox browser.

But now I can have the smooth scrolling from my enternet explorer browser. Yippee.......but I guess I told you to late huh...

Now to hunt down my old avatar pic.......the chase begins!

The IP.Board theme is much better than the new layout. Only problem is.. the color palate is terrible!

But then I suppose I'll get over that, too. That or stop being too lazy to mod the forums.
