I use use both.

A simple google search for "less annoy" turned up several links.

There was a poll of this a while back, it was like:
LAME: 50
Both: 44
SM: 25-35

Or maybe "LAME", and "Both" were reversed, I don't know.


Every mod is a conflict, sometimes it's a simple decsion of what you want to overwrite what. Like with every mod you choose to overwrite the Oblivion.esm. In the case of LAME and SM you simply decide which one you think edits vanilla magic better, and then load that one later. You'll still get the extra spells and features from the other mod.

Well, I think I'll just use LAME. From reading both readme's, LAME seems to be more interesting to me. Thanks for the replies.

As phoenix said, both add spells and make adjustments to the magic system. So depending on which is loaded last, you get the tweaks from that mod.

Imo, both name their spells oddly. So I use the Bash Tweak Names feature to classify them by skill. A - xxxx, C - xxxx, D - xxxx, etc.
I also use Midas Magic for some of the spectacular spells.
