Are there more problems with the forums? I'm starting to get Captchas popping up, which isn't only annoying, they seem to be quite broken: the text is almost totally illegible and once the Captcha is completed it forgets what I was trying to write. Fortunately, IPB being what it is, I'm used to making a copy of my message before submitting, but it is a bit of a pain.

It's also not really helpful for the broken Captcha system to imply that the user has a virus.

I've had it a couple of times with PMs, though I'm yet to be menaced with it when posting to forums. IPB's PM system does seem to be generally pretty flaky, though.

Go through the usual; clear your cache & cookies and restart your computer. I've never had to type in a captcha on this site ever, so I'm not entirely sure what can cause it.

Captchas come up occasionally for me when editing posts, the Captcha is easy to read and nothing more than a mild annoyance. Yeah, the forums are not as they should be at the moment.

Could be that I have been using the mobile version more lately... If there are going to be captchas might as well get rid of the timer.

That was the main problem: it really wasn't. It had two fonts, one word was in classic "distressed typewriter", the other was kinda on LSD and impossible to figure out. But after submitting (I went through many iterations of this) it lost whatever it was I was trying to write anyway.
