I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit.

How about staying on topic and not spamming the place up.

Speaking of which, what is it about this forum that makes it hiccup every single day at 08:30 CEST? Every day without mistake the forum completely stops responding and loading at 08:30 and that lasts for 5-10 minutes until it comes back to life again.

In reference to how often (or to be more precise, infrequently) new members actually read pinned topics. By making them even more invisible than they are when screaming at the user, new members are never going to read them.

Surely if you had the option to hide them, and it was showing all of them by default, to hide them you'd have to acknowledge the existence of the threads and probably read them, though.

I have a feeling that that isn't the way Exo's works judging from previous posts on the matter, but if they were to add a toggle ability with it showing by default, it would indeed be less damaging then it toggled hidden by default.

Now if you were to earn "credit" for reading them (a requirement to scroll through them as well as a timer to force them to at least have that tab open for a period of time) after which you had the option to hide them, that would be the best option, plus then we could laugh at people who made threads like this because it would be acknowledging that they never even bothered with the pinned topics

In other words, if we take the derivative of the usefulness we can see the instantaneous rate of change..

(I am criticizing you all for relating Calc to the forums if that wasn't clear :P)
