FOSE problem.

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 8:06 am

I just installed FOSE I copied all the .dll files to the right place and FOMM says "Launch FOSE" but when I press that I get a message saying "The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlice.dll." What does this mean and how can I fix this?

Update Games for Windows Live.

Or possibly use FOMM's fake Xlive.dll to avoid the problem....don't know if that will work though.

You are running on patch 1.7, right?

If you have the GOTY version, you need to update your Games for Windows Live. The version that comes with the disc is outdated. You can find it at the Microsoft web site.

Yes.

Updating Games for Windows Live should fix it. Get it from Microsoft's own website.

Or try the fake xlive.dll. If you have GOTY then GFWL has nothing for you anyway, I think.
