I found Lydia dead in Breezehome

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 11:42 pm

So after running through some quests with the Companions, I decided to check up on my house in Breezehome, you know, unload some Dragon Bones and what not.

To my surprise I found Lydia in the alchemy room, laying headfirst on the floor, dead. The weirder part is that the only piece of armor she wasn't wearing was her chest. WTF happened here?

I wanted to take a screen, but I'm not totally sure how, just pressing print screen didn't seen to work.

You were visited by my assassin. :hubbahubba:

Not sure! I know that random thieves tend to pillage towns at points throughout the game, it's possible she was murdered by one or a group of them. That's a pretty crappy thing, however. Sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately, your lydia was addicted to skooma. I wouldn't be able to tell you when she developed the addiction, but she spent all day in your alchemy lab making more. She unfortunately overdosed.

Tough luck.

Not sure what happened to your Lydia, but print screen does work. Then the screenshots get saved to your Skyrim folder, located in: Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim.

If your Lydia is like mine.....she was probably diabetic and kept eating those dammed sweetrolls in my room and went down to the alchemy lab for some insulin and didn't make it.

But kidding aside I have had guards and others just wander into the house and leave....whats the point of having a key dang nab it.

And what proves a screenshot here? He could kill Lydia grab her armor and then take the screenshot. If you are going to distrust, make it to the end :P .

Either bandits pillaging or assassins visiting your house [ Is this even possible? ] or just a good ol' ritual suicide!

My Lydia died in the woods fighting imperials.

Several weeks later I bought Breezehome and her corpse was in the guest room.

I have to hit PrintScreen button twice sometimes to get it to take the picture.

Yea. My Lydia just sits in my room all day eating bread while I hunt with Aela. Only a matter of time before she eats too much.
