No, I think people are drawing wild conclusions just like the ones I deconstructed for the picture in the OP.

Im just saying they are two seperate units. The proof is in the e3 demo. You can see T-45 parts, they are clearly different from the T-60 parts.

I really like the way the helmet looks, more narrow than the t-45 and t-50, and not all Antman like the Enclave's Advanced Power Armor helmets.

Or he created the bounding box, it wouldn't be difficult. The guy is a professional 3D artist according to his LinkedIn page, so it's not really a stretch to assume it's fake.

It's also not the model they had in the trailer.

Here the armor is in fact T-60 and its resembles T-45 and T-51b.

Maybe they changed the appearance of T-45?

I mean, T-60 looks a lot like T-45 already.

T-45 looks pretty much the same, just bulkier.

The chest and left arm are T-60. Everythong else is T-45.

I see a naked armorless exoframe and an "inventory" which could very well be the stuff not currently on the rack to be worked on. The item highlighted is the "torso" and the only actual piece of armor I see is the helmet, which looks like a T45's.

Again, why would he pass off a highly detailed model he made as something BGS made? Why would he not want to claim his own work?

I reiterate that I see so much wild speculation being passed off as established fact. Makes me wish there was a facepalm emoticon here.

Madcat please just watch the e3 demo and do a frame by frame. It is very obviously the T-60 and not the T-45.

It's really going to be a peeve, if the armors actually allow mix-match limbs... Like they would actually design the originals and future improved designs with forward and backward compatible linkages, and control software. :banghead:

Is it my imagination or is does that armor look wet in the rain?

Sadly, I think we could do that -w-' And I agree with you...

Mixing a T-51b torso with T-45d left arms and T-60a right arms and with an Advanced Mk II helmet seems to border on blasphemy O_O

... On the other side, now you could look like Ishmael Ashur with his ramshackle power armor hahaha

All the people saying the armor looks plastic, I should point out that the T51b at least is supposed to be some sort of composite, not just a modern suit of steel plate armour.

That trope is actually the only way magic items make sense to me; that the characters (like eccentric magicians) would wear them because of the tangible benefits afforded by them.

...And plastic does suit the setting's fiction.

description for t -51b armour

The armor is fitted with a back-mounted TX-28 MicroFusion Pack which generates an output power of 60,000 Watts to power the HiFlo hydraulic systems built into the frame of the suit. Made of a poly-laminate composite, the outer shell of the T-51b is lightweight and capable of absorbing over 2500 Joules of kinetic impact. The 10-micron-thick silver ablative coating can reflect laser and other radiation emissions without damaging the composite subsurface, and the eyeslit for the helmet is made of bullet proof glass to protect the wearer from any projectiles.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/T-51b_power_armor#cite_note-0 The armor usually carries enough fuel to last for ten thousand years.

so yes t -51b is not pure metal :D

That, and that Plastic was the new *in* product of the era, and the retro-era would have shared the fascination with it.

precisely makes me even more hungry to see t -51b fully in game now that power armour is way more lore friendly as being "man tank"
