So last night I was doing Forelhost. It's a tomb southeast of Riften, where the Dragon Priest Rahgot and his cult were holed up. You find a journal in there that tells about a mass suicide that happened in there, first with Snow Elves and before them, the ancient Nords.

So I came across this room with a little dirt hole in the center. Didn't think much of it, killed the Draugr and looked around for loot. The place looked a little scenic, and it had a little godray of light shining down into the hole. So I look inside it.

There are mini Draugr in there. Little, tiny Draugr, wrapped up in linen.

By the NIne, they look small enough to be children.

ah the details eh?

Yep, it was a whole community of men, women, and children living there.
If you're gonna do a suicide pact correctly, why spare the children? Not like the soldiers were going to be any more merciful to them. Soldiers never are. Especially medieval ones.

Yeah, the white knight is a myth. What most rulers do are attacking those that produce food and that's it, they won.

Yeah, what they gonna do, take the children to be raised? Add more mouths to feed? More trouble than it's worth, best to put their heathen butts to the steel for Lord and Country.

Better, take them all to the middle of nowhere and let them turn a giant wheel....
