Found unknown fruit

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:27 am

Just saw this in one of the most recent screenshots. Semi-pointless thread to some, but I found the possible fruit to be something new. Maybe that is the same fruit you can grow in a farm.

I love that screen so much. Looks like such a warm and inviting place on a sunny day. I'm just going to chill there in game.

Nice spot on the nirnroot. I saw the one by the river when the two men were sword-fighting, but I never caught that one.

Also, that does look like some sort of squash or ... maybe pumpkins. Maybe both. Perhaps wild pumpkins don't grow to be roundish like domesticated ones.

Looks like squash. Also behind the tree with the squash could that clump be some mushrooms.

Indeed brother. Im hoping for a few out of the way houses/shacks, in places like this that I could live in. Like my own little Nordic log cabin in a beautiful forested area. The area in the pic is VERY nice.

Good eyes on the Nirnroot. Im going to have to agree with the majority and say gourd on the squash looking things on the left. And the space between the nirnroot and gourd, behind the tree, could very well be mushrooms as hircine21 stated.

Good looking all around from my associates here. Well done guys.

sorry, but if its not a fruit, then what would you call it? the definition of a fruit is a structure on a plant, that contains seeds, to my mind a gourd fits that decription.
anyway back to my original thought
pumpkins were in oblivion as a potion ingredient, i don't see how they would implement it as an ingredient and as a plantable material,
unless they give you seeds and pumpkin when you harvest... i may have just answered my own question

Pretty sure that "unknown fruit" is a fallen branch from the tree.

Where did you find that screen on an official website? You are not allowed to post scans if that is one.

It's not a scan, its from a game informer site. Link in post above.
