Four points in Strong Back = fantastic!

True, but I'd honestly say that the benefits outweigh that drawback. My Laser Commander character is using Power Armor, and I plan to take all 4 ranks of Strong Back eventually. The only question is whether or not to spend 6 levels getting Nuclear Physicist rank 3 (I don't use AP a lot, so I dropped my Intelligence to 6 for a more rounded build), or just start trading all my extra ammo to Arturo in Diamond City for Fusion Cores (the character is using Laser Weapons exclusively, so I only need Fusion Cells; everything else is just trade-bait).

The most useful perk if you'ere collecting everything, just lob everything in a container just by the exit of a big dungoen and then fast travel it all home in one go, love it.

If you're not averse to using mods then wearable backpacks is the way ahead :P. The fact that they are a little more believable and look good is beside the point but, with perks in the right place you can up your carry weight by 200+

I gave it 3 points.

4 points is tempting, but I like to give myself a line of challenge with decision making on which to keep and to drop, and also to give my companion more job by being a mule.

To be honest. I just take everything and store it in a container near the entance to the dungeon I am in from time to time. After I am done with the dungeon I go and take everything to my settlement using god mode via fast travel. I pretend that I did several runs or that I delegated that task to someone else. I don't really have the time to play it all out 100%. It is imho no more of an sbstraction than fast travel itself. Sure strong back is awesome as I don't have to use console anymore.

The only decision I make is whether I want to take everything in four trips or take everything in one trip. The choice was pretty easy. :)

That sounds Fantastic! Was wondering how that AP thing worked. Definitely doing this on my next character!

Yeah, I was worried about the AP thing too, and whether it would be clunky or useful... but after putting that 3rd point in and seeing how it worked the next time I got overloaded, it was like "Whoa, cool, I like this a lot!" Only caveat would be if you're playing a char with low agility, low endurance, and no points in Action Boy/Girl. If you have real low AP with no recovery booster, then it wouldn't be very useful.

Right. I blew a number of perks on random stuff testing it out and I'm still on my first character. I'll do a new one once mods are out and I'll manage the perks a bit better. Doing a melee character, high S and E, no crafting, so there should be plenty of perks available to set this up to work with the melee perks.

perks/equipment that reduce sprint ap seem to help, with max ap the drain is barely noticeable. Jetfuel is a great help.
