Just started playing again, fresh install on the game and mods. Came across an issue last night when I started doing Operation Anchorage, picking up the first sniper rifle I've run across I end up seeing this when I snipe with it:

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/Toprem/Temp/ScreenShot3.jpg (Standing around and not aiming with it my FoV is set to 110-120 range)
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/Toprem/Temp/ScreenShot4.jpg
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/Toprem/Temp/ScreenShot5.jpg

I didn't take a picture of it, but when I picked up the Gauss Rifle the same thing was occurring, just with its unique reticle.

I don't recall this happening the last times I've played the game which was like a year ago. What would be causing the sniper FoV/HUD to be all screwed up like that?

edit: Loading it back up real quick to check something I noticed something thats happening with the sniper rifle that I thought was happening last night, when switching to the sniper rifle (and gauss rifle) my FoV and Weapon FoV both decrease to the default FoV (I think its the default FoV, I know its the default Weapon FoV) for some reason. What would be causing that / would it be related to the issue when sniping?

edit 2: Evidently changing fdefaultfov caused that to occur, which is odd because I don't remember that happening the last time I played and I am almost certain I changed that value. However, the issue with the FoV and Weapon FoV going back to default values when I change to a sniping weapon is still there.

And with the changes to these forums since I last played, good to see they still can't save cookies worth a crap and I get logged out for no reason -_-;...

It's the FOOK camera feature, probably. In order to have scoped weapons not appear odd when looking through their scopes in the event one has pulled their camera back, I had to set it up so the camera reverted to default FOV while looking through scopes, but if your .ini settings are non-standard, so will be the 'default'. I'm uploading a newer hotfix set right now which will be http://www.yourfook.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4307 momentarily. One can disable the feature if their .ini settings are clashing, but I'd suggest setting the Fallout.ini FOV settings to *default as the up and down arrows can be used in game at any time to pull the camera in/out.

*
fDefaultFOV=75.0000
fDefault1stPersonFOV=55.0000

Lemme know how it goes or if there's something I should do to further account for non-standard .ini settings.

Changing fDefaultFOV back to the default value fixed the issue of looking down the scope though, so I can't change it back to what I had it at. Should I also delete fDefaultWorldFOV from my ini since its not there by default? I take it the hotfix is in one of the two 9-02 hotfixes?

edit: Disabling it fixes the issue, however I noticed I cannot zoom out past the game's default FoV with it enabled.
