Fraction Armor : Fallout: New Vegas

Only thing that I hate about the game is that when you wear a faction armor you get attack by other factions which svcks cos if armor looks cool you cant wear it. For example Legion Centurion armor. This was much better in Fallout 3 that is that you did not get attacked if you wore faction armor. I get the logic behind it but there should be an option to paint the armor or change it with repair function so its not associated with a faction. Cos basically you can only wear leather metal or mercenary armor. Faction armor is only good for getting into base which is a shame.

Would be cool if this could get patched so you can wear your favorite set all the time not just the head peace. Hope that option will be fixed in Fallout 4 at least .

And ya, kind of annoying, if you're on the PC, I'm sure you'll find unscripted armor in the future. The problem really being you're wearing a uniform, and the consequences of it.

We already have a PC mod that does that. Sorry if you're on a console, you chose to buy it for that.

really im a big fan of fraction armor my favorite is the 4/5ths armor or the improper fraction armor if your feeling naughty.

What mod are you talking about? I am playing on PC. Where can I get this mod? I really want to run around in Legion armor cos its looks cool.

Shucks, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1127061-req-disguise-less-faction-armors/ was a request and not a release.

That said, if you don't mind getting your hands dirty...

Duplicating the armor and removing any scripts/tags that tie it to a faction should be easy enough. I'd rename it too so you can see it easily in your inventory. You'll have to add it to vendor lists, or use the 'player.additem' console command.

(I might go about doing this myself, but I don't know how to work vendor lists)
