Fragile Allegiance is one of my all time favorite RTS games. Recently I have been having trouble playing it on vista. I dont feel like finding my old windows ME cpu to play it though. On vista with the CD I can't seem to run it. I have downloaded Dos box inorder to see if that would change a thing which it did sort of. The game runs very glitchy and there are so many unexpected crashes that makes me want to bash at my face into a wall. I just want to get this running well, so my friends and I can do some network play.

Anyone with positive experiences with playing Fragile Allegiance on Vista?

I haven't run Fragile Allegiance on Vista. Hopefully, someone has and can give you some feedback. I have successfully run many older games under Vista (run as Admin, and check the compatibility boxes under preferences.)

I haven`t tried it on Vista yet, my CD is to scatched up to work. I had it going on windows XP using a program called DOSBOX (http://www.dosbox.com) it`s supposed to work on Vista. There are tutorials on how it works there to, so you should be ok
