Frame rate drops more and more over time!

Hello,

So I have a Asus Directcu II GTX 580 with an i5 quad core (3.3ghz) and 8gb of RAM. I have a Samsung F1 1TB drive with Windows 7 Home Premium.

I can play Witcher 2, Rage, Crysis 2 (with DX11 and Hi Res textures) and Dead Space 2 with max settings with over 60fps. In FNV I get over 120+ fps with max settings and the NMC's Hi-Res Texture Pack.

I bought the game from the shop so my issue is not related to steam. I play with these mods;

[X] FalloutNV.esm
[X] Project Nevada - Core.esm
[X] HonestHearts.esm
[X] OldWorldBlues.esm
[X] LonesomeRoad.esm
[X] DeadMoney.esm
[X] IWS-Core.esm
[X] Project Nevada - Equipment.esm
[X] AWorldOfPain(Preview).esm
[X] MoMod.esm
[X] Kaya47NF.esm
[X] GunRunnersArsenal.esm
[X] Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp
[X] Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp
[X] NewVegasBounties.esp
[X] NewVegasBountiesII.esp
[X] CONELRAD 640-1240.esp
[X] NVWillow.esp
[X] The Mod Configuration Menu.esp
[X] AWOPMonsterPatch.esp
[X] IWS-Core-Patrols.esp
[X] IWS-Core-Guards.esp
[X] IWS-Core-Civilians.esp
[X] RCSS.esp
[X] Purge Cell Buffers.esp

I am having this problem in which after 15-20mins the frame drops considerably to less than 30fps. I can then exit the game and it will play amazing for 15-20mins again and then drop it doesn't matter if I am indoors or outdoors the framerate drops completely. I don't know what to do.. I have used the d3d9.dll because I was having constant crashes which this fixed. However having to play with these awful framerate is making the game unplayable and I am sick of exiting and restarting the game 3 times an hour!!

I have played with the 'New Vegas Configurator' but don't know what I am doing.

I don't understand why it is going at 120+ for so long and then suddenly dropping? I have looked over the internet and have only seen a few people with a similar problem but I cannot find a solution. I don't have this problem with any other game and the ones I've listed are considerably more GPU and CPU intensive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Only thing I could think that you could try is purging the cell buffer, and possibly upping the buffer limits in the Configator (There should be a setting for Interior and Exterior Cell Buffers; increase them each by double or triple. Max them if you wish, even). You can purge by hitting the tilde key " ` ", and typing pcb and then Enter. That will alleviate short term. You could use a mod that does it automagically too.

Only downside to the pcb command is that it triggers the achievements to be disabled for that session when it registers the commands being entered in the console, so you may want to look for the PCB mod on New Vegas Nexus.
