Thanks to the OP for posting this thread...it took me hours to figure out that the additional creature mod was crashing my Oblivion, but without this thread telling me I have to install the 5XX MB add-on, I would have given up altogether.

I've installed Frans and used the recommended number of wilderness spawns. But I really think it's a bit too high. I can't stand anywhere in the wilderness and not see enemies somewhere.

How do I change the number of spawns to a fewer? Can I just run the installer again, and if yes, is there anything I should be aware of when running an installer for a mod which is already installed?

You can run the installer any number of times and choose which folder (like a temp folder) then copy out of the folder to your install.

Did you opt for the more enemies plugin?

I know Arthmoor made optimized versions of the BSA - one of which can be had on the FCOM opening post.

We are going to need a new thread here. Any volunteers?

Ok, I'll try to run the installer again and go for the reduced spawn points, or what it was called. I did install the more enemies, maybe I can just uncheck that and my problem will be fixed and there would be no reason to run the installer.

EDIT: oh, the more enemies plugin is only for dungeons.

Well what about more wilderness life? Are you using that? I was not aware that FRANS by itself added more spawn points unless by one of those two esp.

I will post a new thread in an hour or two (have to go do a few RL things first) - that is unless there is an issue with it. The plan is repost the first post and prune out deadlinks. Make a second post with salient points from readme and FRANs patches page on nexus. Third post for updates and news.

My fault, it was actually MMM's which was the mod where one can choose spawn points.

If No One Objects I will start a New Frans Thread since this is well over 200 POST Now

Edit: Going to have to make some changes to first post, look like may have to remove some of the coloring to reduce the amount of characters in post itself..
