Frank Horrigan

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:34 am

I was strolling around Google like i sometimes do and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRBSYMlsQH0&feature=player_embedded#at=25

Now this got me thinking, i know the idea behind him in the mod is for him to be a clone but the thing is, do we know that he is dead? Sure, getting blasted in half, nuked, and sinking to the bottom of the ocean inside a burning radioactive wreck of an oil rig would kill most people, but this is Frank Horrigan, how can we be sure? Besides, i could see Bethesda bringing him back, or cloning him.

Quick question to go with the discussion: Liberty Prime VS Frank Horrigan.

The thing is...he's not just a regular super mutant. He's a Super Mutant. He can't be dead.

In a fight between the two, I would have to choose Frank Horrigan.

Yes, a proper end boss, Liberty Prime disables the last force shield then Horrigan jumps out of a plane and owns him, kills the Pride and the game ends.

Only joking, serious discussion, do you think he could still be alive, and how so? I think that his dragged his lower half to Chicago and got patched up.

The way a Fallout game was meant to end.

Awww, great, here comes the seriousness. No, just kidding. I think his body was found at the bottom of the sea (what was left of it, anyways) and the BoS fix him up. Lucky bastards.

You know, i'd imagined ENCLAVE GENERAL to be drooling on this thread.

How do you think that Horrigan could have lived, i also fancy the idea that he tore a http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Sentry_Bot_(Fallout_2) in half and uses its legs.

Frankmobile.

Seriously, I don't think Bethesda would go that far. Or Obsidian, if they ever make a future game (I hope so) I would imagine him as a minor character.

Speaking of minor characters, he could've been awesome as a skater in Skate 3, like Isaac Clark was.

I disagree.

He was torn in half, shot in the head, blown up, and then (best case) dumped into the ocean where he can't breathe.

Pretty strong argument for the "dead" side. :P

Hey, I can make my avatar James from FO3 but that doesn't mean he isn't deader than a doornail in lore. :P

Horrigan would kick that robot's ass. But I prefer not to fight him anymore.

I want to BE Frank Horrigan.

Edit: Oh wait, you kinda were in Fallout 3, minus the looks.

I just read about him in the Vault and saw a few scrrenshots of him and I hope that if he's dead then they have the Enclave do some sort of experiment to try and recreate him, if not then have them in Chicago rebuilding him. But make the process of them bringing him back to life very slow (he could arrive at the end of the game).

If I saw him in F3 or F:NV I would turn and run away (in New Vegas I would be shocked because there are barely any enemies even as strong as you).

You really should play the originals. You'll see what we've been whining and QQing about. Franky was awesome. He could kill Deathclaws and Brotherhood of Steel Paladins in one punch.

He could PUNCH a Deathclaw in HALF, not just kill.

He laughed off plasma bolts and punched a hole in Matt's chest, Matt's last word: "...meep..."

I've seen him in FO2, he's damn awesome, but I find Liberty Prime to be equally great.

Horrigan's voice is just a thing of beauty, whoever that VA was pulled it off perfectly.
