I was wanting to make a movie using FRAPPS showing some actions I was doing in the Geck, but FRAPPS only captured the render window and not the textual parts of the object window or any script windows that popped up. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I have a full version of FRAPPS.

FRAPS isn't designed to capture the Windows desktop, only the 3D windows (DirectX etc). What you need is a screen recorder, I recommend http://www.google.com/search?q=screen+recorder (without the quotes) to see what you come up with. I don't have any personal experience with any such programs so I can't provide any personal recommendations but the first link (cam studio) looks promising.

Thanks, for the suggestion. Cam studios worked great except that the audio was a bit soft.

Yea fraps only records in program rendered things. Like in game, in video editors, the geck, etc. It wont record your desktop.
