Nope. No viruses. Works great. Glad I didn't pay $60 though for this console port with muddy graphics.
Then your computer svcks like hell. This game STILL looks good, EVEN on DirectX 9. I don't see why people are crying about it, sure I would like DX11, but seriously. Look at the Source Engine, it has never EVER had DX10/11, but the games still look good anyways.
Valve never boasts how good how groundbreaking the graphics of their game will be.
Except during the time of Half-life 2 when it is really the game with the best game in the industry.
Since then, they are focusing on the gameplay instead of bragging the graphics. I didn't hear they talk about the graphics of left 4 dead or of other recent games a lot.
But for Crysis, all Crytek has talked about is how good the graphics will be. How the PC will have groundbreaking graphics while the console versions will be the best looking game on consoles. How powerful cry engine 3 will be.
However, what happens how is that console versions have good graphics but not better than gears of war 2 or uncharted 2 or other blockbusters.
While the pc version only has mediocre graphics with dx9. Even Crysis 1 has better graphics than this.
Crysis 2 on consoles IS the best looking game for consoles
in PC i wouldn't say that Crysis 1 looks better than Crysis 2, one takes place in a jungle island and the other in a city, it's very hard to compare them, crysis 2 characters are more realistic, the have smoother animation and better facial expressions, Crysis 2 has destruction like breaking car doors apart, destroying concrete pillars and barriers, maybe it might have some blurry textures and no DX11 support but crysis 1 wasn't perfect either, it had some low polygon rocks with blurry textures, cans and items from the Korean shacks had low polygon count and had blurry textures
