free-roaming play style? : V

Does anyone play without engaging the main quest?
Just wandering about; doing local quests and delving into dungeons etc.
Are there threads about this style of play?

This is a pretty common play style... since the entire Elder Scrolls series is based upon free roaming adventure. :wink:

I would bet that 95% of all players do this with at least one character.

If you are on PC is easy, you use Live another life and start the game in a Inn for example, or a cave, or as a bandit.
I personally started at an inn and dont engaged the main quest since level 45 ... that was like 100 hours in gameplay.
And if you are on console. well, you avoid to go to pick the dragon tablet from the barrow. Then you may roam freely and start the main quest when you want.
