Do a free-weekend multiplayer...

I know it's EA and i'm not actually too sure if it's been done by them before but it would attract the attention the game needs and also, a free-weekend before (presumably) any DLC is released would up the sales of the DLC as well as the game (assuming it's paid DLC)

their was no free weekend that i can recall but im suprised they havent done it already.
this game was so lively during the beta, maybe if people were able to experience the full multiplayer we will see more players buy the game.

+1, but they better wait to have solved the problems with the server browser and matchmaking. In a single weekend new people is not likely to learn how to pick a good server and, if they are playing at 300+ ping, they WON'T buy the game.

was going to say this.

they really need a good patch first, fix the major issues with this game and then do a free weekend.

i mean look how much the free weekends and $5 steam sale saved l4d2.
(not necessarily a good thing cause now that game is flooded with noobs/trolls)
