Freedom trail code

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:12 am

So... Was I supposed to be writing those letter positions down myself? I assumed the game would keep that in my journal but there's nothing there. I'm gonna be super annoyed if I have to go retrace that trail because I was expected to write them down myself. I don't have a problem with a game expecting me to do that, but Bethesda games as long as I can remember have been heavy on the hand holding so you usually don't even need to read quest logs in most cases and until now, Fallout 4 has been no different. Why would it now suddenly require me to put in extra effort without telling me so.

The answer to the password is who you are looking for... Also web search engines help in seconds to almost any topic.

Thanks but I wasn't asking for the passcode. I was asking where I could look in game for a record of the code. All it was saying was I had everything I needed to find the railroad, but not the correct sequence, which is unusual for a Bethesda game. I had already looked the code up online before you answered because while I was hoping I could simply find the code in my journal or something, I got impatient and rather than retrace the trail to get it again I looked it up.

Railroad

1r
2a
3i
4l
5r
6o
7a
8d

That's what the code is for. I didn't get it at first, but I guessed the password was raiload anyway. This code of numbers and letters just confused me more than it helped.

I agree, with the exception that the rest of the game holds your hand so to suddenly require some extra effort on the part of the player is unexpected.

It did take me by surprise. Especially considering I found the freedom trail on accident and ignored it, then it kept telling me to find the next clue but I didn't even know where the [censored] first one was. I'm not a complete idiot, most of the time, so I was able to figure it out, but still.

RAILROAD in case you didn't bother to wright down the letters just to find out its the name of the group your trying to join. Pretty bad code anyone can just figure that out without following the trail.

Same. I found the begiining while exploring but didn't even realize it so when it was telling me to follow it later I was like, wat... But then I hovered over the quest in the log and it switched to text to tell me where it started. Without that I would have been screwed,

Lol, same. I wasn't paying attention to anything other than following the red bricks until I got to the door. I just guessed that it probably would spell railroad. /shrug.

Lol

Those codes were the clues? I'm feeling like and idiot xD

I found some codes and completly ignored them because I thought it was just random numbers and letters... But I gessed the password anyway.

I did not even remember majority of the letters. The Railroad showed their competence by making the passcode embarrassingly obvious.
