It exists and is meant for said purposes :foodndrink:

and yes BellTower, you can have games as small as 4 confirmed (lower is possible but it won't be nearly as team based). However Public will always be 8v8.

Wait, did you listen to any of what HORSE said?

Dedicated servers= 16 friends 1 server

Edit: the only way i c "practice" possible

Yeah well for me practice is with bots at first, then the real deal is full online with only real players. I am not a fan of mixing both at all so I sincerely hope you can properly filter servers on this. I mean I am waiting for this game for the gaming experience with humans, not really a campaign story or so. If there is one, it's bonus, but I want to crush the puny humans online :-D

Indeed start playing campaign single player then wait for the game to start bribing me more XP to play online. :celebration:

Not my thinking at all :( I'm more thinking (in online fps I play) that one could use single player to get a hold of the gameplay and the maps, and the roles your class has to play in the basics... then jumping in with real humans and a basic knowledge avilable to build some teamplay and strategy right away, hence getting the fun, imo.

I'm not used to take xp in account in online fps. Actually the whole upgrade with permanent xp thing is quite a recent trend imo, and I still don't like the idea. I prefer when all the stuff is available to everybody in the beginning, so one can already try out all. Though progressive xp can be ok because then you focus on weapons/unlocks one at a time, giving a bit of personnal experience and feeling with all the features before having them all, combining, trying new builds etc.

For this type of game I wouldn't play solo I suppose (never did even once on battlefield 2 or BC2, nor in ETQW. Exception for Wolf:ET I guess...). I prefer to FPS against AI monsters and splicers rather than human mimicking bots in a multiplayer setting. Maybe I'm getting a bit old !

Well that is the other perk and my true intent. Give me a chance to start learning all the important stuff before getting into hectic online multiplayer.

I hope they put in a offline mode for you can try everything honestly. Cause this kind of gameplay is going to need a lot of practice. Just the moves are new by themselves.

Freeplay... wut
This isn't a open-world game like RDR.

After reading some posts it seems to me like you guys just want to play alone in the map. Just create your own custom game and don't put any bots in it. :/

Most people here never listen. Why call him out? People have a right to an option, maybe he saw something we didn't/

because the others almost never put up big posts, he does, and it annoys me simply because it's always the same, but slightly altered

With you on this. He really annoys me. All of his points are either not true or about how awesome Lights are (i prefer Light, but he could at least give valid points. His points aren't valid at all.)

Anyway, i'm going with the power through single player option, then go on multiplayer and kick some [censored]!

There was talk about being able to have games less than 8v8, and this is listed n the Compendium. Whether this is is PC only or what, I don't know.

For any clans that are thinking about competition play, games will probably be around 4v4 - 6v6. This is a typical number for league matches.
