What was the fallout (pun not intended) of the tabletop FST development cycle? Does anyone have any deeper insights? Beta testers? Cryptozoic? Chris T?
If I have my information right, main developer Chris Taylor intended to deepen the lore of the FS Universe, and I also read there were a couple of subplots that were supposed to be added to the already existing Freespace framework. I also read there were to be new factions, and (gasp!) possibly new races. Now that it has been almost a year from the inception of the game's development, maybe some testers might be able to spill some beans? Maybe even Chris himself might be allowed (unless NDAs are in effect) to shed some light on what was going on behind the scenes. At the end of 2014 John Nee of Cryptozoic said they "were working on something special" with gamesas and Chris Taylor. Maybe the time has come to gather all that there was in a pile and illuminate the masses with a post mortem?
