I posted this on the Splash Damage forums as well. I apologise for those that see it twice, I'm just getting very frustrated, so I'm trying to cover all bases.


I bought the game, loaded it up and was excited to play, but to my utter disappointment I'm unable to..

According to steam, I've played for under 60 minutes. Those 60 minutes have mostly been spent loading the game to see if a fix has worked. I've literally had about 10 minutes of play time.

It seems to freeze everywhere, at random times. There's no place it specifically does it. It can be at startup, character creation, in game, menu, it doesn't matter. The type of freeze also varies. Sometimes it freezes and then after 10 seconds I can play again, but only for another 30 seconds before it freezes again. Other times it can freeze and I need to restart my computer.

It does also crash to desktop randomly as well.

I've updated all my drivers, reinstalled the game, verified the cache, done every fix I could find online but still nothing.

According to CORE TEMP, my CPU is at about 60-70% load and temp about 45-50 degrees with Brink open.

I can run COD: Black Ops on high without a hint of it slowing down.

I have some of the MDMP files in the steam folder, but I don't know who I can send them to. Can an OP help me out?

These are my comp specs:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2GHz
NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti 1GB
3G RAM
Win XP (SP3)

If anyone can help me out, or an OP can provide an email to send the MDMP files to, to help me solve this issue it would be much appreciated.
