I have had the game since the day it came out, and i have only encountered mild freezes and a couple of hard resets. Now i have started a new character and my save file is 5000kb roughly, and every half an hour to an hour i am experiencing hard crashes where i have to turn my ps3 off and on again. Is there anyway to ease the amount of crashes?

The only thing I've been able to do is turn off all autosave options, and turn down the music. If you've already done this, then I'm not sure what you can do. This only helps though, I still freeze every now and then, just less often than before.

I have no idea how the filesize works. Mine fluctuates every day, whether I finish long quests, or just go sell a few items it can go up or down by 500kb.
