Do freind invites become cancelled when you log out? : Crysis

When I send a freind invt I can see them in my inbox as "Freind invt awaiting approval from *****" But for some reason if I were to log out and come back into the game That message isnt there. I havent made any freinds yet this so I was wondering if at this point, my invt's are being cancelled. If anyone knows.....

I am pretty sure this is normal behaviour. It sorts itself out after a while :-)
