I thought it was a nice update. I think the best part of it was the information of what the future updates will be about.

I don't know why but I'm dying to see an Argonian.

I think that was nearly the best update - if confirmed there will be a discussion on the mechanics of the game within a week. The wallpapers were bland though....

Right now my favorite update is the Dragon Shouts one, not only did it delve into the dragon shouts but it told a little about the lore and the story of skyrim and it also went into the new draconic language. Top it off with some kickass screens and I think it was better then the Sounds of Skyrim or Technology behind Skyrim.

But I've said it before and I'll say it again... Can't wait for the update on the new dual-hand combat system.

So if the inventory is now a four way compass what is it going to default to when you bring up the menu?

Eh, I'd rather have in-game shots as wallpaper...but what's coming up has me excited.

Looking forward to the next few updates - but I hope we get some info about combat and the interface we didn't get in the magazine! I'd especially like to get some insight into the more tactical side of combat; combining swordplay with crowd control spells, for instance.

The wallpapers are okay. I just prefer high-res concept art/screenshots in the other thread. =)

I find no interest in these wallpapers. I have that screenshot of Markarth (side) as my wallpaper, even if it is a little low resolution.

It didn't make me happy, but I wasn't angered by it either. I knew people wanted it, and even I am using it. Still there were better updates, but any is better then none.

I don't think the wallpapers were the update were they. Seems like a small goodie for fans. Andrew Riner responding to someone on Twitter didn't really word it like toda..well yesterday..had an update planned. If it is then I guess a link to the wallpapers is on the Skyrim Hub. I assumed just because they had a skyrim wallpaper post it was just fanservice to kissups and megafans than an update.

Anyways Reiner basically said they have an update planned for combat in Skyrim but said it wasn't for today(yesterday). With the weekend, a week, and a Monday left of January I'm sure it won't be a long wait.

And after GI's coverage ends maybe the European and other publication viewsof Skyrim more details might come out.

Going by Howard's words we'll most likely be drip feeded to launch. I'm fine though with so many games out this year. Plus kind of hope Skyrims release date doesn't get here soon. Means yet another year of my life passed quick. I like savoring the present aslong it isn't a crappy situation.

Plus, can't wait for Deus Ex Revolution, and L.A. Noire...and....you get it xD.
