So my friends who is going to midnight release?

I wish my GS had a midnight release party for FONV... :( they only do those for like big big time games like CoD or Halo. Although I think they had a Fallout 3 midnight release.

From experience I can say that Steam won't unlock at midnight. They tend to do it around 9am+ so they have people to support the servers in case something goes horribly wrong. Civ 5 was that way, it was like, midday before I could play it.

No biggie, just more time to play FO3. :P

it will be a disaster if you go to a midnight party and can't activate your game by 12:05am. Seriously. Fan-fury over securom and such will pale into insignificance....

(and I know there are other threads, but they've all been locked, while the question remains unanswered)

Well since my dumb azz didn't pre order the PC Collectors Edition and I want to read All Roads before starting my game I may haft to cancel my pre order at Gamestop. Which I would not have even pre ordered from if I didn't trade in a game (which is also kind of dumb) to put down on the pre order. So like what am I gonna do with $25 store credit? There is nothing at gamestop I want, heck I don't even want F: New Vegas from them unless it's the Collectors Edition. If I didn't already have credit with Gamestop I could just download the digital version of the Collectors Edtion off Direct2drive and at least be able to read All Roads.

I plan on going to the midnight release were I pre ordered my copy and buying someone's PC Collectors Edition from them, If it comes to it I will pay $100 to get one. Im not going to buy one off ebay and wait a week after release of the game to play it I know that . . Heck I can already wait 3 more days.
