So my friends who is going to midnight release?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:38 pm

So comrade; just as the title says who is going to the midnight release? My gamespot is doing it but I'm not to sure i would do it, maybe if i can get my friend to go. Its not too far out of the way for me just about 10 minutes or so. I guess mainly the question is would you expect a lot of people to be at the midnight release or not?

I'm a senior in highschool with all A's for the first time in my school career. I cant afford to miss a day of school. If i did go to midnight release, I wouldnt be going to school on tuesday. Haha. So not me.

i would, but the GS i pre-ordered from isnt doing it (probably because its just a spin-off, not a good enough reason to have the mall open 4/5 hours after close) but since i got the CE, i cant cancel and go to another place.

So comrade;

I smell a communist. :shifty:

I am. :tops:

Why do you need moral support to go pick up a game? :hugs:

For FNV? Yeah, probably. But I'm not going there to actually meet people, like at a party or something. I'm going to there to pick up a game and go back home. :fallout:

I am!
And hopefully I'll be able to install and play it the same night, hearing how Steam has it locked till sometime in the afternoon has me worried.

I'm not really expecting too many people at my Gamestop, I hope not at least, Lincoln Park doesn't really have the kind of people you want to be around in the dark. :excl:

Well I bet I would be able to convince a few friends to go but I don't really want to go in the first place.Im ok with going to my early morning class then not going to my afternoon class or work.

Pffft I'm not going to the mid night release. I'm grabbing my copy from behind the desk when I clock out at 10 though

Speaking of midnight launches, I just put up news of the devs from Obsidian and where some of them will be next week at the strike of midnight

Too bad I'm stuck in Michigan. Nothing fun happens out here, besides the Red Wings anyway.

Hey the Lions won this week. And the Wings look good. Too bad my trip to Ann Arbor last weekend was spoiled.

If you're not in LA, it couldn't hurt to check with your local Best Buys and GameStops to see if they have anything planned.

No midnight releases in my area... boo.... Fortunately I know the people at a local electronics retailer who already have 3 copies in transit and who have promised to let me in after hours for a case of fizzy-pops. I fully expect to have mine in hand at 12:01am...!

This would be a dream come true for me! I'd love to have Josh Sawyer & Chris Avellone to sign my copy of New Vegas! Unfortunately I'm residing in Virginia which is not even marginally close to Irvine, California... :sadvaultboy:
