I made lots of suggestions for Crytek on how the FrogTag could be unlocked for us, long before most of the major patches since I knew there would never be a Crytek comminty event held (which is how it's suppose to be unlocked) soon after release. And a lot of mods and admins sounded like there were talking to Crytek and were coming to a point of including a solution in a patch or D-patch. I don't know what happened since there's no fix and no more patches coming.

Ofcourse I want it even more now since I can't have it, and it really looks like a soar thumb sticking out with every tag unlocked exccept for that one.

Wish they would have worked on included a fix for this instead of nerfing or op'ing weapons and some other usless patche fixes.

We are not good enough to take care of the frog. Even though we were in the alpha/beta. ;_;

People keep saying it unlocked for those even though I payed both alpha and beta and it never unlocked for me. I've never seen it displayed on another player (kill cam) with it unlocked either.

I want that dog tag too... And I have seen one time only by one player...

Although it is not so important to me, but I think it only works if you use the same name as the alpha and the beta.

I have them both, but I'll stick to my hungarian flag.
As frankesz said, I guess it requires the same account you used in the alpha/beta.

Definitely not save based. I had problems with my computer when the Alpha launched, but was still able to try it out. I had a long run (got refund at the end of the RMA in February) with the company replacing my motherboard, so I was on a temporary computer, which of course could not handle Cry3 beta. I borrowed a friend's laptop, to try out the beta. With the final product released back in February, I used a totally different system, with freshly installed OS.
So in overall, I played the three stages of the game on three different systems.
Conclusion: I presume that the Alpha and Beta dog-tags require the same Origin account/name to unlock.
