Let me turn this around. It's an old trick of people who don't want to pay to blame "greedy" people. They often indulge in doublethinking to hide the fact they don't want to pay in "concern" for those they are protecting from being paid.

(Why do so many people hate capitalism? It's an idea system, not, you know, a weapon.)
