No, seriously. I've been fantasizing about this for a decade :P

Dunno how the pieces fit yet, but I'm glad that A) It's getting done, and B) It's you guys doing it. You and Masthead are both standups, and I look forward to playing and helping in whatever ways I can.

That's kinda the going theme around beta testing now a day, not beta testing, just trying the game out for free and making a purchase decision on pre-release software.

Me on the other hand, am excited to see what gamesas does with this cool IP - what kind of a game play system will they develop?, how close/far the game play will feel to Fallout 3? (should it?), what will they do to stand apart yet, somehow tie into the world of Fallout 1, 2, & 3?

I also love beta testing, I love seeing things fall apart and how programmers choose to fix them, I love to see the world come together, literally too, I look forward to logging in to same area before a major update and boom, I'm greeted by all these updates, it's fun.

P.S. This is not a cry to get into beta, or anything like that, just sharing my thoughts on beta testing and discovery of game systems/mechanics. Good luck to everyone out there that wants to get into beta, and good luck to the developers, I'll be watching you like a hawk because I want this game to shine!

Could add that what I meant was, that beta gives me the opportunity to test the game yes, but I do give response if something isn't working in the game as well. I just don't want to buy a game, pay for the month then realize that it ain't fun. So either beta or trial works for me just to see if the game is fun. And I don't ever judge a game fully on the beta gameplay ;) well.. since it's in beta... Image
