I just got an idea for a mod. But I'm no modder, so I'm tossing it out there in hopes that some modder thinks it's neat.

Someone (probably the BoS) uses data from an old, very beaten-up Pip-boy from Arroyo to create a simulation of a very challenging battle. The players get the chance to run through it, safeties off.

The simulation would be the battle in the oil rig, fighting your way through Enclave troops at the height of their power, in their home turf. Robots, APA/APA2/T-51b armored enemies with powerful weapons, and all culminating in a battle against Frank Horrigan. Being that the P-94 plasma rifle is actually in New Vegas as the Plasma Caster, that gives a good comparison point for properly scaling the damage of his attacks...especially the arm-mounted plasma cannon he had.

A grueling slog through powerful enemies in close confines, followed by a battle against someone who's greeting to a Deathclaw Alpha Male was to smash its head in a single strike. Would be interesting to see if the Courier can replicate the Chosen One's greatest victory.
