this is my first post, but i wanted to make sure I added this input in hopes of having it looked at during development-
In various games, almost all of the new MMOs in fact, some imp[ortant and very simple things have been overlooked that Roleplayers absolutely adore.
obviously I am not in beta, so i don't know which of these things have been implemented and which have been ignored.
my hopes are to see them all integrated into this game, as they are extremely basic and used constantly by the roleplaying community, as well as machinima and video makers-
1) walk animations. and a hotkey for walk animations. this is the most necessary thing ever for roleplayers. yes, there's games that I've played recently that have RP servers and etc, but you're spending the entire time running at unrealistic speeds. it made RP impossible, and therefore noone RP'ed.
2.) chairs.
yeah, just chairs. chairs you can sit in. there's clearly going to be taverns, why not make the chairs and stools be available to sit in? not as important as walking, but it's annoying not being able to do another simple function.
3.) that's it. walking and chairs. I'm 100% certain any and every roleplayer will agree with me that these are two of the most utilized things roleplayers do when they aren't playing the actual game.
I know this seems like a useless post, but it really isn't. we're pretty damn easy to please. give us a central tavern, a chair, and an ability to walk to the chair in the bar, and we're pretty much golden.
as for other things that would be amazing in the future: the stuff rift has in game is pretty amazing. I hope i get to see the player instances and housing and stuff in ESO, but certainly thats not something i would consider important. not like walking or chairs.
P.S yeah, this is an actual serious post. i am however making humor out of the fact that something so simple is so important.
