[RELZ] FROSTCRAG REBORN V 3.0.5

Hello,

I downloaded this Mod, and, for what I have seen, I'm very amazed. Though, I do have a problem with it... I'll show you some screens I took a moment ago, hoping you'll be able to help me.

I installed it using the method you recommended to us, using Oblivion Mod Manager. I tried everything I could think of, too, like... Reinstalling it, installing it manually, changing the Load Order, ... Nothing seems to work. Always the same problem.

If you want my Load Order, I can put it here, no problem. (Is there a fast way to do so? :P)

I don't know what that is, but it wasn't placed there by my mod...it is definitely a holdover from some other mod. The only solution is to start disabling mods till you find the culprit. Sometimes this doesn't work unless you make clean saves after every mod is uninstalled, and then reload the game, as the problem can be inherent in your save, rather than the mod. That is the only advice I can give you.

Since indefiance says it's not his, install formid finder and found out which mod it belongs to.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I have a question...how exactly am I supposed to convert the separated 7z files into an OMOD? I see no omod conversion data folder at all.

I had the same question. When I tried to install it manually I got the lod textures are there, but the textures for the castle walls on the exterior are gone. Any clues as to why this might be happening?
Also, I've allowed screenshots on the ini, but for some reason when I press print screen, I can't find them. Where are they?

This is a replacer esp - I'm pretty sure you don't need the unofficial patch when using this.

Well, I figured it out on my own, I think. When I looked at my BOSS patch, it said that Frostcrag Reborn WAS NOT compatible with Unoffical Frostcrag patch. Once I disabled that, the castle walls were right where they were supposed to be. :) Now, on with playing the mod!

while you're at it you could get Frostcrag Revisited which is also nice and coimpatible with Reborn ;)

No both Frostcrag revisited and Frostcrag reborn are both replacing the same esp. They are not compatible.

Have you been to Frostcrag Reborn? You'd tell immediately that these won't work - especially the exteriors.

There is a Frostcrag COBL patch and a harvest flora patch that work, but I doubt those would.

Now ... they may work with Revisited.

yep I've been there but it was a long time ago since I played it so I can't really remember well. :D

oh well, frostcrag reborn is still the best frostcrag enhancer out there, so let's just go with it ;)

OMG, i just realised today that the cupboard in the living room resets!!! i just lost a whole lot of awesome non-armour enchanted apparel! damn it! :(

Sorry, I thought I had checked all of those... I will be releasing the next version in the coming month or so, so I will be sure to have this fixed in that version. If anyone has any other minor bugs like this to report, please let me know

Great mod that I can't recommend enough but I have a slight issue with the far away view, when you look up at the mountain from the imperial city island for example. It looks like frostcrag is hovering over the mountain with the sky visible between the two.

Out of curiosity, what was the solution for your LOD issue? I've been having a (different) LOD issue, so I'm trying to understand more about how LOD/VWD works in Oblivion.

Yes, you are correct that the BAIN anneal function solves this in the cities (though not in the IC for me as I use Better Cities which places the IC in a new worldspace). It's not an ideal solution, though, because if another mod adds some other VWD object visible from Bruma or Cheydinhal, then that VWD will obviously be lost when using the pre-generated files that come with Frostcrag Reborn.

I think best practices is to set up everything so that Tes4LODGen can create the VWD rather than distribute it pre-generated. This insures mods play nice with each other and, I think, if it's done right would fix the lack of BC IC VWD (which is not solved by copying over the LODs distributed by Frostcrag Reborn).

Hi indefiance, I don't know if this is a bug or an incompatibility mith my oblivion setup, but I have a problem with the lesser prism of the ice: it messes up armor rating. When I equip it, it gives me +15 armor (as it should?) but if I close my inventory and reopens it, the armor rating is back to its original value. Anf if then I unequip everything it gives me a negative armor rating. Once it got stuck, and I had to resort to the console to fix it. Is this behaviour intended?

Hi,

I am using this mod, and I have a problem. In Frostcrag Spire, my game usually freezes. I was in the frostcrag and when I launch a spell, or attack with my sword, the game freezes, having to reboot my PC. I solved this loading a previous game(And I played a lot, in Cyrodiil and Shivering Isles), but now, I have gone again to Frostcrag and after 2 min or so, my game has the same problem: It freezes,

1. You should be using FrostcragReborn_COBL.esp if you are using COBL
2. I don't think you need to be using the DLC frostcrag unofficial patch. It can be removed.
