Hi indefiance, I don't know if this is a bug or an incompatibility mith my oblivion setup, but I have a problem with the lesser prism of the ice: it messes up armor rating. When I equip it, it gives me +15 armor (as it should?) but if I close my inventory and reopens it, the armor rating is back to its original value. Anf if then I unequip everything it gives me a negative armor rating. Once it got stuck, and I had to resort to the console to fix it. Is this behaviour intended?

thanks for the awesome mod, which has been my oblivion home for as long as I can remember... :)

I realize this was a while ago, but... Are you running Supreme Magicka? If so, look at the setting in the ini for SMElementalShieldFactor. If it is anything other than 0, there is your answer. (I discovered this myself not too long ago in much the same way).

I found out that I like frostcrag after all.
This cool mod makes my purchasing the official DLC worth its money.
Works just great but I am a bit blunt blade today, so I will need link to a walkthrough if available.
And while am waiting, where can be found the key to the Deepness, please?
And don't forget I am in a hurry to restore frostcrag to its full splendor! !

Key to the Deepness! Half kingdom for key!
NVM! Found the readme :D
Great mod with greater support! Thanks.

Not to give it away completely, but...

Spoiler
You could say his lair (or is it a prison?) is at the lowest point in the entire mod... I think that's pretty accurate.

No doubt... in fact, this is one of the first mods I ever installed. The design improvements are remarkable, and the perks for completing the quests are even better. One of my favorite parts becomes available after the first quest is done. Again, not trying to give too much away, but...

Spoiler
It makes nirnroots that much more interesting... and valuable!

Enjoy! I do every time I play it!

Yes, I believe that is correct, or real close to it. If you're talking about the area down under Avalon where you have to activate something that
Spoiler
feeds the mana well up in Frostcrag,
then yes, that is what I am referring to. Reactivating that "thing" is only one of two things you need to do while down there. If you haven't found it yet, the lair/prison is down there as well. It's dark, and not terribly obvious until you're right on top of it.

By the way, if you haven't run into Telan Highcourt yet (I think that's his name... kind of a sub-boss), you may want to look for him first. He has something that will make that final fight a little less impossible.

Hope this helps,

I just saw this. That is one very cool piece of information. It was set to default value, 5. Problem solved. Thank you!

Ah, good! I was afraid it might be too late to be helpful. Glad that was not the case... enjoy!

So I think your remake of Frostcrag is fantastic... Its visually stunning near and far. So far, I think youve done a wonderful job.

I am getting a glitch though which I think is preventing me from moving forward in the story.

That looks like its supposed to be a walkway to the cabin type building on the south side.

Anyone know whats going on? Any help is much appreciated!

I never encountered that, it seems its a conflict with another mod you have.

This is almost certainly caused by a conflict with another mod. If you post your load order someone may be able to help you
spot the conflict.

Do you have UL: Snowdale installed, and if so did you make sure to get the patch for Snowdale and Frostcrag Reborn?

The Frostcrag Reborn readme states that you need the Enhanced Music Control (EMC) OBSE plugin as well as the older SoundCommands OBSE plugin. The readme states how EMC is used in the mod, but makes no more mention of SoundCommands. Is SoundCommands necessary for the most recent Frostcrag Reborn?

Neither sound mod is absolutely required, just recommended. I personally run Frostcrag Reborn fine without either of those sound plugins, although I also tend to turn the music down or off entirely for greater ambiance. The mod just detects that you don't have them and makes a note in the console. Everything in the mod continues to run fine for me, I just don't get the "enhanced" sounds.
