***SPOILER ALERT***
Hello friends. I am addicted to the whole Fallout series, as I assume many of you are. A few months back I bought New Vegas again with all the DLC's, on Steam. I have been playing and having a blast. Typically no problems that a simple restart of the game didn't fix. But recently I have had some problems, and I thought I got things fixed with the help of Steam Support. Here is my question, and their response, basically you can see what they had me do: I put it on pastebin -> ohh never mind this forum won't let me post a link, so anyways... I deleted all the local content, and re-installed the game.
Okay now here is the problem. I have gone through the entire Honest Hearts DLC, and I am on the last quest, called "Crush the White Legs". And no matter what option I choose with the White Legs guy, the game just stops what it's doing. I can look around, I can look up and down and left and right. But nothing happens, the white legs guy doesn't do anything. The guy with me with the bandaged face doesn't do anything. And this happens no matter what option out of the 3 I choose.
Please help me. I don't want to loose my game. I tried using a cheat to finish the quest, but that doesn't work either, it just gives me some message.
Is my Cheat wrong? I have tried CompleteQuest xx008a36 and CompleteQuest 02008a36

Hmmm, sounds like you've encountered quite the bug.
When somthing this screwed up happens to me, I usually load a file that's more than an hour back.
The file your playing on is probably corrupted, so it really doesn't matter what you do, it's broke.

Go back to an older save and try again, if that doesn't work, well.... You might be royally screwed.

The guy with the bandages can be almost as brutal as that balding guy.
Personally I like to work with Smiley face robot or the guy that looks like Howard Hughes.

I figured it was more Walt Disney's looks but everything else was Howard Hughes.
That balding guy is one of the best guys out there with his naturally growing pink hair

The guy in the scary mask is the meanest though. And the dreadlocks captain america guy is way cooler than the Smiley face robot.


Salsa guy is ok, but I like the scary purple grandma better.
