After having played Fallout: New Vegas (and liking it, though not as much as TES), I decided to give FO3 a shot. The horror!

First I needed to install Windows Live to even get the game to boot up. Second, I had to edit the file 'Fallout.ini' to stop it from crashing (apparently this game has issues with quad-core processors).

Ok, after doing all that, I finally could start playing. But, after 17 hours in, I went to Rivet City. And the game just keeps on crashing there.

I can not just decide to never enter Rivet City again, as it is an important place in the game.

This is so frustrating! I might just watch a playthrough on Youtube instead.
