Full armour sets = laziness

May PC elitism burn in hell

And may the console kiddies burn in Oblivion :flame:

Edit: There's a reason PC gamers on average have higher IQ's and income than the average console gamer

I wasn't bashing anyone before one of your colleagues began name calling, the 360 is holding this game back is an established fact whether you would acknowledge that or not. I only care about TES, group yourself with whoever, either way it's not a matter of arrogant or not.

Name calling? I simply stated my opinion about your views (although looking at it now I did make it out to seem that you were the idiot, apologies) and you seemed to get heated after that

(Hell in fact if you got that offended I'll even edit my post, just for you.)

I'm going to apologize for my tone right now, Ok lets start...Fine you want more armor, you want all the features they can fit in without exploding at the seems risking their fiscal security. Then you are going to have to Knuckle down and stop being A SELF SATISFYING, INSTANT GRATIFICATION MONSTER and not buy the game at all. If enough people don't buy the game then they will listen to you, otherwise it is an industry and will sell to the greatest number of people.

I [censored] HATE when people act like everyone on consoles are just a bunch of morons that buy whatever garbage any game company puts out. I discovered Oblivion on Xbox 360, then played Arena, Daggerfall, and Morrowind on my PC. I may not exactly be part of the "core audience" as you put it, and I'm glad. I don't want to be grouped with a bunch of arrogant people that bash everyone else and think they know more about making a game than the actual developers.

I actually discovered MW on Xbox. Since then I have pretty much played Beth games on all consoles. For the record some people actually DO know more from a design and implementation standpoint. Those fine folks produce excellent quality Mods to replace the bad portions of the game (if possible). Bethesda relies frequently on the modders for new ideas as well as stealing other ideas from other games of late they have been doing this too much.

i dont like the decision, but theres not much we can do about it, i quite liked the fallout 3 system but thats fallout and this is tes. I actually really liked mixng and matching armour like leather cuirass with fur greaves orr vice versa but i can see why they made the decision, but still super sad face

Yes but can someone explain how having less armour pieces makes it more possible to have more people on screen?

Also you still have to design the greaves and cuirass whether it's combined or not so why not just keep them seperate? I can't see the logic

People should pay me for foreseeing this console war...

Although it is hilarious to think that the face generator is also changed because of the evil console people and not because it was just bad...

If you'll recall, you did insinuate that console gamers will buy up any trash.

and the console crowd won't even care, they'll just move on to the next FPS without a thought of it.

"We can also make a lot more armors now, so the number and variation types are more than we’ve ever had."

This makes it okay, for me anyway. If it really is a substantial increase over the number we had in Oblivion, then the merge is absolutely worth it.
