A full body vanilla model

I am trying to create a full body model to be used to fix "vanilla" clothing and armor. I was hoping to piece together a model with Nifskope, import that model into blender (2.49b), then, pull in the clothing/armor and make all the necessary adjustments. Unfortunately my model is not looking too good. I was able to get the body parts on the right side to look good, but it is the left side that is really bad.

I looked through the OpenMW code and saw that they scaled all the left side pieces by -1.0. This works okay for the arms, but definitely not for the legs. The foot ends up pointing in the wrong direction. Is there something else I should be doing for the left side pieces?

Any thoughts/comments will be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't you just import the pieces into blender individually then copy/paste as needed? If you already have one side working (and it's symmetrical), just the mirror modifier.
