A full dialogue mod that should help appease sufferers...

This mod makes the game display the full lines of what your character is going to say in conversation, instead of just a paraphrase.

Yeah, saw it this morning. Looks good, I'll give it a try later. Together with a "No player voice" mod it's almost like the old days.

Remotely related question: does anyone know when we will have NMM of FOMM ready for F4?

I can not understand why its not default?

First it solves lots of the complains, secondly it works well with gamepads too.

Last would it be easier to use with an pad as an list?

Thinking the text would be faster to read in an list form just with YBXA in front? You have to remember hotkeys for weapons, not much harder to remember

And yes this should be trival to port to consoles then they opens for mods. Would be interesting to see how UI mods on consoles develops.

It was only a matter of time for this to come out.

Still, that's impressively quick.

Muting the voice should be easier. And then we can stop the endless arguing over it.

What's the likelihood of this mod ever getting to console? Would be fantastic.

First, GECK will be released - early 2016. Then, consoles come.

Does it remove the idiotic cinematic camera during dialogs? Hate how the camera is swapping all over like a child with a crack addiction for mentats.

Don't think so because your toon still talks.

A mod wich removes the spoken lines should also remove this.

Can't wait for it.

is that setting in the base game or in the mod? that cinematic camera and how it flips all over looks like crap how it jumps around, if were the character it should really focus on who were talking to so it feels more like real life not like were watching a movie, were supposed to be the star of the movie! Lights, camera, ACTION!

Well, I'm glad if this helps folks who are disliking it. Myself, I am perfectly happy, perhaps even joyous with the vanilla system. Meh . . . different strokes.

Keep in mind: I do not say this with authority, as I'm not sure, however, I've seen several posters comment that, mods made at this point, i.e., before the GECK, might corrupt saves. Small price to pay, and as long as you keep it in mind, not a big deal. But games you start now with mods, might not work later after Steam updates, patches, or with other mods produced later with the GECK. Uninstalling the older mods and restarting should always be an option I suppose.

thanks will need to check that out if its in FO4! Now if someone could just make a dialog volume slider for the main character to turn him down so the NPCs are louder that would be awesome!

The Nexus already has about 1000+ mods in it. Including easy hacking and lockpicking, this dialog mod, various reskins, enb's - go take a look: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/?

The only issue is that you will have to add the mod manually (which is easy). NMM for FO4 isn't available yet. Probably because Bethseda hasn't given their blessing yet.

Console players.. gotta wait. Know one know exactly how MS or Sony will be supporting mods. I suspect, they will allow a few select mods.

Edited: NMM is now available for FO4. Just rescan for games.

You can use Nexus Mod Manager already, the newest version has support for Fallout 4. Personally i am waiting for Mod Organizer, so i'll just do it manually now. I am gonna use this mod, i like the new system, but i need to know what my character is saying.
