I'm still sticking to my quiet, little opinion that it's Ebony, not Elven. It looks and sounds waaaaay to heavy for Elven and is black with a golden trim, like Ebony. :whistling:

nope its elven for shore u can tell it still has some smilar design elements from oblivion oh and he dose have a glass sword

It's Elven, folks. The Auri-el bird motif is all over it, including the sword (which has a shape closely akin to Oblivion's elven longsword).

How can you not say it's Elven? In the trailer, it shows the armor. In the Gameinformer.com coverage videos, the one about concept art, it shows a picture of Skyrim Elven Armor, it looks exactly like what's in the trailer, and at the bottom of the picture it says, very clearly, "Elven Armor" lol. The guy is flipping the bird in the concept art. It's quite obvious the same thing.

Helseth didn't fair very well against Trueflame...

It's probably elven armor. Never really been a favorite of mine personally. Too "fancy." I'm more of a practical kind of warrior. Give me something that's heavy that will protect me.

It's Elven. They had the same thing in the concept art clearly listed as Elven Armour.

It looks great. I wonder if heavy armor and light armor groups will exist or if all armor will just fall under one category so that my preferrred type of character can wear Elven Armor.

Its glass! They changed its colors far more green from the concept art... so I think they decided to change it from elven to glass...

Uh... it's a darkish gold. It's not green at all, and glass has always been a bright, glowing green with a COMPLETELY different style. If they WERE going to change it to glass, they wouldn't jsut keep all the Elven style trimmings and stuff, they'd change it so it actually looks like glass armour.

Yeah, I think it looked more like ebony than elven. Anyway it looked sweet so it dosen't matter right now.
Edit: I'm actually not sure about what type of armor it is. It is dark as ebony, but had a more elvish design.
