"...But there's no sense crying
over every mistake.
You just keep on trying
till you run out of http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_t_xlGGymR7U/S7o8mndIelI/AAAAAAAAA3k/jFEuIRF_EK0/s800/Yellow+Cake.jpg.
And the science gets done.
And you make a neat gun
for the people who are
still alive.."

Looking forward to SW:TOR, Maybe Portal 2, and obviously the long awaited Brink, in all its blessed glory.

I'm just looking forward to BRINK and Gears of War 3 :) Maybe Portal 2, but we'll see about that..

So if I have to put it in a order, it will look like this:

1. Gears of War 3 (September 20)
2. BRINK (May 20)
(*3). Portal 2 (April 20)

Glad to see there are more than me on here who likes Gears of War :D

I see a pattern emerging...

I see a pattern emerging...

The games listed are undeniably part of some nice franchises, but I have a serious problem with games dying out due to not being as popular as the competition.

Its a big problem these days. I find that the less popular the game is, the more it suffers. I'm not sure why this has to be so.
I have a long list of games that I play. LSW: The Complete Saga, COD:BO&MW2, TF2, Operation 7, Champions Online, Global Agenda... and many more.

The games that are currently suffering: Black Ops, Op 7, Champions Online, Global Agenda.

In my honest opinion, MW2 was a great game, and much more balanced/polished than Black Ops. This is why I think the franchise has suffered, and continues to.
The franchise itself is crumbling over its own foundations. And everyone besides the die-hard COD fans can see it. A lot of people were expecting BO to be one hell of a game.
I still play Black Ops.

Operation 7 isn't a well known game, and its graphics are very poor. The weapons and combat are where the game shines.
Although I don't have much to say about it, I will say it svcks in comparison to newer FPS.
I don't play it anymore.

Champions Online is basically what I'd like to call City of Heroes 2. I beta tested CO, and quite frankly, its far from polished.
One of the major problems with this game is that they love to svck you dry of your cashes. Costume sets are bought with Atari points or they take forever to earn.
The other problem I have with it is its coding. One problem is that it makes your client check with the server before performing an action.
This leads to heavy rubberband lag. Even on the best rigs.
Currently playing.

And then there is Global Agenda, such a wonderfully balanced game with the exception being the pvp brackets.
The instanced missions also really killed the game for me, because it forced you to play with people you would never choose to be on your team.
If you weren't playing the class how it was supposed to be played for the situation/map you are on, then you failboat all the way home.
Said to hell with the game, AVA isn't endgame to me.

I'm getting bored of typing so, I'll stop there.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get Brink, Saints Row: The Third, Skyrim, and Battlefield 3. 2011 is a good year for games.

i dont post often but i was looking up info so ill post here.

Top 3 games seem to be:
1- Brink (the only real innovative fun looking multiplayer focused game coming out for atleast 2 years i just hope they do content updates like TF2 or something to keep the playerbase interested)
2 Deus Ex (Looks like a great fun singleplayer game that i could replay 5 times and not get tired of it)
3 Star Wars MMO (Just because it is star wars and the only promising MMO coming out in years)

I am looking forward to Brink, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Skyrim, and hoping that Diablo 3 will be done this year too, but highly doubtful.

I have no idea what's coming out.

I've got Brink, the LOTR RPG in the fall, and maybe the SW MMO but my PC probably can't run it and I generally don't like to pay MMO fees so...

There are a few sports franchises that I might look at, but that's usually just a "should I get it this year or continue to put it off" deal.

I try not to look ahead too far, otherwise I end up waiting.

Apart from Brink. Mass Effect 3 and Saints Row 3, I'm not really hyped up for any games. Not even Skyrim, which is weird because I really enjoyed Redguard, Morrowind and Oblivion.

Star Wars: The Old Republic seems to be looping its "home stretch" :sadvaultboy: Two months ago they said they had finished content -- two weeks ago they said the same thing. Gah.

Other than Brink and TOR... I'd say Deus Ex, Skyrim, and Battlefield 3.

so I'm GLaD I got burned
think of all the things we learned
