Fun things that no one playing this game should miss out on

Post » Fri Feb 12, 2016 12:01 am

So im about to be done playing this game w only 1 playthrough and less than a quarter of the hrs logged in comparison to fo3.. My experience in fo4 has been horribly buggy and just not that intriguing of a game or storyline. That being said I don't want to miss anything major, or fun, or funny, or awesome weapons or anything like that. So if you guys would like, please post whatever things you think are UNMISSABLE so I can check em out before I hang this game up. Thx!!

The Last Voyage of the USS Constitution is a quest that shouldn't be missed, IMO.

if I remember correctly that was the ship run by robots w captain ironsides right? That was glitched for me no matter how I did it. When fighting off the scavenger hoard before even talking to bosun ironsides and the rest of his shipmates would become hostile toward me. Even if I didn't fire a single shot...no matter what I did they go hostile on me. :(

ugh. that svcks. that was probably my favorite quest of the game.

The Silver Shroud quests were a lot of fun, especially the last one (as it's a challenge to complete without collateral damage).

The Cabot house quest was great.

I liked the Covenant quest a lot.

Reading the Dear Detective tapes and seeing the skeletons arranged in the sewer by Diamond City is fun.

The Museum of Witchcraft is sufficiently spooky.

Are you exploring much? The level design in FO4 is so good, even better than FO3. They're using vertical space (roofs, etc), many locations are very big inside and go on and on and change from one thing to another (Andrew Station), some are just interesting for the detail (Kendall Hospital), some have interesting things going on (Dunwich Borers, Fens Street Sewers, HalluciGen, Cambridge Polymer Labs ), some have great combat (Gunner's Plaza, Saugus Ironworks), there's a lot going on with the overpasses (some have elevators and camps) you can walk a long way on them. Some locations may trigger epic battles between factions (Big John's Salvage, Wilson Atomatoys Factory), Quincy Ruins has two bosses, good use of vertical space and many Gunners, if you haven't been to the Milton Parking Garage you should go through that, the middle school in Malden is worthwhile. There's just so much content in this game; maybe not as many quests as we'd like, but so much to explore.

Oh, and If you haven't found/been given the marker for the Pickman Gallery it's definitely worth seeing/doing/getting the reward.
