Fusion Core Bug

Post » Thu Jan 28, 2016 11:31 am

Hey guys!

So I got this problem today: I put a fusion core into my power armor (the animation where the character sticks it in appears, like always)

So far so normal, but: as soon as i get into the power armor, there's a message telling me that my core is empty and I need to take a new one.

Also, when I leave the power armor then, the fusion core just disappears. He isn't in the power armor anymore.

Well, so I managed to get a new one, put it in again, but the same happens again and again.

Does anyone probably know what kind of bug this is?

Btw: I use mods, but every mod I use at the moment haven't caused issues so far.

I had to reinstall my Fallout 4 really often the past days, 'cause I modded a lot and a few mods ruined my savegame every freaking time, but there was never a problem with the fusion cores, so shouldn't be any of the mods.

I created my own "Fallout4Custom.ini" tho, because after a few installations this .ini file didn't show up again. (I copied "Fallout4.ini", deleted everything and typed in what "Fallout4Custom.ini" usually contains).

Could that be an issue?

And why does the "Fallout4Custom.ini" file not show up anymore?

Much appreciated if someone could help me. :P

List the mods you use anyway, the more info to go on the better.

Shouldn't it replace the core automatically?

Have you tried walking about....?
