ok so I've been thinking about it a lot and the vanilla generators are cool and all but they are so loud and ugly I get that its a post apocalyptic wasteland and things are junkie but we already have fusion core power, and it was like how everything worked before the nuclear war why cant we have some kind of quiet fancy nuclear reactor? like a big container you can put fusion cores in attach wires to, I don't know it makes more since to me than using a generator.

Have you ever seen a nuclear reactor? My guess is not. But I'm guessing you have seen the dangers of nuclear reactors and the devastation they cause if they are not carefully taken care of by a large number of people with a lot of resources to put into doing so.

My counter-suggestion would be to make electric generators powered by potatoes and unicorn heads. Perhaps the unicorn horn is where the wires go and the potatoes replace the eyes with diodes connecting them together.

There's already mods that have wall/floor/ceiling mounted fusion generators and powered switch boxes. Been using them for quite a few months now.
