Future DLC Suggestions #7

Post » Tue Feb 16, 2010 1:10 am

Only problem is the defense system which removes any and all weapons from you.
But it could be explained to be broken after the vault explosion.

Well in all fairness the damn thing itself could just be explained  like how it knew to deposit your stuff back in the BoS bunker etc.

Hmm, that dude who built it probably installed a plot convenience module in it. ;)

Well if people are suggesting Russia I want Ireland!
I'd love to see how much chaos there is in Limerick compared to now.Actually crime would probably decline...

Sadly, that would be accomplished only by the total destruction of three of them.
But I understand how you feel.

I was thinking the other day about stuff about fallout. Here's my Idea. First, you meet some crazy scientist dude who says take this Pre-War money! You'll need it! He directs you into a teleporter and bam, your in the Pre-War world. Your quest is to convince Vault-Tec to design a vault for you (High Speech), but to do this you need a lot more money than the scientist gave you. So you have to do various tasks that earn you money and finally you can afford yourself a vault. You can specify the details of the vault, such as inhabitants, armory, medical supplies, ect. When this is done, you go to a specified location which contains a teleporter, and your back! Once you are back you have to locate the vault, find out how to get inside, and the rest will be decided by the details of your vault. There could be a quest and a faction if there are inhabitants in your vault, or you could have a cool place for yourself! Now, talk about this! :disguise:

Nice in theory, though what is the point to the dlc as in why do you want/need to build a vault.

just noticed this thread.

The name of the dlc can be "California Here I Come"

So what if you could travel to california in one of the dlcs and see the home of the NCR for your self. and either join it officially and be made a general or champion or something or another, destroy it totally once and for all, or negotiate a treaty (with an army of robots at your back) to make sure the NCR never bother you (or mr. house if you helped him) again. and have it so you get a special reward for each ending like a special made weapon of your choice of melee or gun. like for the NCR for example you could get a unique Ranger sequoia or calvery style saber sword or something. and for Legion ending you get the blade of the east or a unique power fist or unique assault rifle. etc.

I think this would be interesting since we dont know what the NCR really did to help out california as a whole and i would like to see if they really are some what on the path to rebuilding the old world or is it just another wasteland controled by one big government. Also i would like to see the NCR's capital which is where the dlc could take place where ever or at least where ever the NCR has located it i think it should be in either be San Diego, Hollywood, or LA I'm partial to having it be in Hollywood.

what do you think?

It has been in 2 games, one where it was actually called NCR. We've seen lots of how NCR does things and heard about it, so going there for a DLC isn't really necessary. An option where you can "destroy them once and for all" doesn't really fit into the gameplay, anyway.

Id like the assult rifle and chinese assult rifle. Optional suppressors, condition enhansers, composite stocks and scopes/sights would be cool too. Those were my favorite guns in fa3.Kinda miss them.

Lots of planes at McCarran as well as one at Jean's skydiving school for those who aren't friendly with the NCR. Would be interesting to travel Across the pacific to see how China is doing with their Apocalypse.

Also, a quest to clean off the railroad tracks and get a train running.

Would be nice to see a female legionnaire.
Of course there'd be a story behind her joining the ranks of the Legion.

Oh and please make Dead Sea a companion.

I would like to learn more about Vault-Tec, its history and stuff. Not necissarily a DLC that comes with a lot of new vaults, but maybe one with the headquarters and stuff.
It would be hard to implent with all the writing and stuff, but I'd also kinda like ghoulified ex-Vault-Tec employees...

Vault-Tec HQ was in DC IIRC and it didn't give much info.
Think it's best to save a big story for vaults for a full game instead.

Battle for Helios dlc lets you decide which faction gets control of archimedes and the power.
The battle would be between the followers and the brotherhood who could form an alliance , and the NCR and the Legion.

Spoiler
Please patch the I Put A Spell On You quest where if I'm vilified by NCR I can still talk to Curtis for Legion's quest.
He's suppose to be a legionnaire under cover so why the hell does he attack me if I sneak past everyone to his room to help him destroy the train? :banghead:
