I would like to Jacobstown the Super Mutants, organize themselves, creating different choirs and orchestras, who see the reazone of good fun music.
An example?

Would you think it would be possible to make a Fallout game online so that you can play with other people.

Yes, i think it would considering how much the game already offers and how talented beth and obsidian are.
Plus many games already offer these multiplayer options

I'm very confused. You want to organize the Super Mutants of Jacobstown into a orchestra/choir? I'm quite honestly having a hard time believing you're serious.

O.K., just heard that song. I hope to god that you're not serious.

Nono: i'm serious! i want the music: important element of the peace and love! But also for a possible psychological therapy, to relieve the schizophrenia of Nightkin

Hey, maybe this can became very wonderfull with a song from Grease:

But not with the supermutants, maybe with the King who make a musical in their School

Gee, if only music actually could cure schizophrenia.

I'm really not understanding why you want this. It doesn't fit... at all. It just doesn't. That's all I have to say. Unless you are truly joking. Which I sincerely hope you are.

I would like a DLC to include neutral type jobs for caps that could help with exploration such as being able to get hired to guard traders/merchants to towns. Another example would be getting hired to be a courier, again, and carry whatever to whomever in any town or become a travelling doctor mending up people in towns you visit for a few caps.

These jobs wouldn't affect gameplay other than be a way to make some caps with the skills you've got.

Now I know there are quests that do somewhat of the same thing but I would like these jobs to be available at anytime, even if I just finished my tenth job being a courier.

When I played through the first time I just kept on doing mission after mission for the NCR hoping that I would be able to join their ranks (I wore their armor everywhere since I liked the look and it was medium so it served my purpose) and to my dissapointment it pushed me to the end game when I thought I would be offered a job there. :( my idea for a future DLC, for those of us who would like to join the NCR... LET US!! I know the gate to the south by the Mohave outpost is locked but can be opened. Why not let us go there, and it leads us somethere we can join the battle against the legion or some other faction that wants to eat our legs, and use our testicles as home decor.

But thats not it!

If bethesda is up to the challenge they can have this flip sides, so if you are a legion supporter, then you do basically the same thing, from the other side. Go visit cesar, he tells you to get your scrawney butt down south, and you fight NCR as you attempt to take over the world *alkward evil laugh*!!

But being able to fight as a soldier would be awesome ^_^

And on the next patch (if there is one) PLEASE make more legion raiding parties. Like when I'm nearby an NCR camp they are attacked by a handful of legion. Or when I happen to be walking by a caravan the legion attack it and I can ignore the fighting, help the caravan or help the legion. And legion ambushes can happen a bit more. I saw in a previous post about if you piss off a certain group they will send assasins after you. Ive pissed the fiends, great kahns, the legion (of course), and the powder gangers to no ends, and they seem to make no effort to kill me off. Either I scared the piss out of them or the developers dont want them to be mad at me.

Well the point to the discussion is a great idea, to actually be able to join one of the two main factions (NCR/Legion) much like how you can seriously join the Followers of the Apocalypse. Though to make it fair, perhaps make it so you have to be a certain level (like 10) in order to enlist, since you'd have to be experienced enough to not have to be taken away from the game to do boot camp or other training. Infact, being able to go to a camp where an NCR CO could even train you in either skills or techniques.

Ahh but I must fix an idea with what you said. That west gate at the end of the Mojave outpost actually leads back west to California. There would be no legion there at all, instead it'd be filled with NCR armies. Also, most of the soldiers in the Mojave Desert (troopers and rangers alike) actually go through that outpost to reach there posts.

I have always wondered what was behind that gate and i always wanted to go behind it. Also that would be awesome to be trained into the NCR and then eventually you would become a VET yah.

@xzenocrimzie yes they should have a DLC to do that. I mean you can Join the BOS in FNV and F3 also the Followers so why not the Legion or NCR?

That reminds me epicness1, it'd be hard to do but possibly doable. After you join the Legion or the NCR turn your reputation from "Liked" or "Idolized", or whichever to your rank in that faction. So it could say Private, or Corporal, or however Bethesda wishes the rank systems to be within each military.

dude that would be sweet to have a ranking system like that and you could control a group of soldier depending on your rank. I would love to be a Col. woooo.

And as I said before there'd be a requirement in order to enlist with either main factions. But since we're on the topic of joining them and ranks - you might ask how you go up rank, since we all here know how we hate to be limited in an RPG game where either you don't even get a good of enough character to be proud of him until right before the ending battle. Or from being limited to only getting things unlocked from doing the main quest.

How about we don't determine rank on how many main quests we've done but instead the amount of time you've spent in that faction? Everything in the game has a clock that monitors it (shops, enemy respawns, NPC's). Roll the time you spend with a faction into building more rank and respect within the Faction but very slowly adding more points to a next rank. Other things that'd count into points for another rank would also be the killing of enemy factions of the one you're in (So for NCR it'd be Legion, Fiends, Brotherhood of Steel, not the Followers or other gangs within Freeside). -And yes, also the quests and sidequests that you do for the faction you're in.

yes that would be cool and you show like the Legion ears to your Superior commander and he nods his head and your then one step closer to being ranked up. Also once you get to be a high enough rank you can train other troops also.

Well you give the Legion ears to the Pvt in Camp Hope, but yes, those would go into the rank (instead of just kills in general). -Alas, that is an amazing idea! To be able to actually train soldiers for your faction, much like you can in Camp Golf with the misfits. But training them would be on a new base in the DLC or maybe from a new Commanding Officer in either Camp Mccarran or The Fort.

yes of course. and if you would kill like high ranking Ceaser legion officers you would get much gratitude towards you and even closer to your next rank.

After a while of playing the game a radio signal comes on about a new robotics copany advertising new stuff like a laser knife and force fleid armor etc. you go to the location it gives you and you're greeted by a man named barnum (he looks very pre-war and has a top hat on ) he explains to you he is the founder of this new company (i haven't really come up with a name ) and he offers to give you a tour and you step into some teleporter and you appear in some office and begain the tour at the end of the tour your attacked by crazy slaves after killing them barnum talks to you but now he's a protectron (but still has the top hat ) and now he explains to you that those were slaves he use to "help" around the company and how recently they've started uprising and seeing how you handled your self against that group he wants you to supress them so you dress up as a slave and talk to them they explain to you that they don't work their harvested to help program the robots barnum makes. and then you go on to help the slaves or barnum.

It's the same idea as Pitt, acting as a slave in a new territory and having to help one or the other.

Judging from this quote from a source:

"He also said that a future DLC would add an area to the game that players "likely thought they would never see"

Were getting a Common Wealth DLC, its obvious.

Well think about it... "Likely thought they'd never see". It means it's probably something that we mention that we want on here because we're not supposed to think it's going to happen obviously. So I feel I can roll out any other even maybe more advanced NCR or Legion camps since it seems the most of us wish we could officially join one of them.

The only thing that comes to mind is maybe another famous Casino, or maybe a lead back into one of the old Fallout games (a path or train back to DC, or of any of the original 3 Fallouts). Or even possibly another lushful area with even plantlife (that doesn't try to kill you). But I'm personally thinking and betting it's somewhere famous that actually exists that we'd be completely shocked to hear about. It'll have a relatively small population with around 6-10 quests I imagine.

But I still have high hopes that we'll get what we want :) (As in NCR or Legion) -Maybe and it'd be real nice to go west through Mojave Outpost into a base in real NCR territory.

They shouldnt try just to make the NCR or Legion oriented. It should be something new but with both factions if you catch what im saying you dig!

Elaborate? We can't have it an entire open book for Obsidian to fill in. We have to make it fair and a single few differences and add ins lol. What exactly do you want or did we cover that yesterday? ^_^

With us only getting 3 more DLC's, I doubt many of these suggestions matter, sadly.
This whole underlying story really takes away from what could've been some great DLC.
Now, I doubt we get to use the flight pods at Nellis, and so on and so on.
Shame. Fallout 3 gave us a bunch of different, creative DLC. This looks like it will limit us to Mojave.
