For the next ES game will the game engine, like the creation engine, and the physic engine ( maybe there the same? Maybe what I'm asking doesnt make sense.) be rebuilt, be brand new or do you guys think they will just use the old one?
I think many people would like to have some new mechanics to the game with improved combat. Less bugs. New graphic design, have cities feel less empy and have a more advanced house building tool. What if you could start a house or a camp, in the mountains, or in cities. What if you could choose where to build your houses. More options for the inside and the outside of the houses when building would be nice too. Of course you would still have to dish out cash for property, materials, etc.
In the next ES do you think many of the dungeons and caves will be replicated and reused? They should create a new and differnt enviroment for every cave visited.
I think players would appreciate if most dungeons didnt give them a sense of déjà vu. New enemies implemented into the game would be nice too, which people are assuming will happen. An increase in spells, weapons, armour, items, Etc. Is a good idea. Along with bigger area to travel, more locations. People wanna play these games for months on end, and so do I. Speaking of déjà vu, do you think voice actors voices be recycled, or will they have all new charscters with totally unique, new voices?
I talk to my friends about multiplayer. I also see many people start discussions on it. I don't think its something Bethesda wants to implement into the game, but playing in such a huge world can get lonely by yourself. Will they try to have a 2 player or 2-4 player ES experience. That is balanced?
It would be a good idea to put multiplayer into the next ES. Have another player with the game play with you, do quests with you and do basically anything you'd normally do by yourself. It would even be cool if somebody built a house in your " world " and everytime you invited them to the game thats were they spawned, waking up. Just a thought. There is the problem about who gets what loot, and what if somebody is a ridiculously higher level than you? Well if you both kill an enemy and he has something cool on him, then you both should be able to search him and recieve the same stuff. If somebody who is a level 40 goes to a players world that is level 25, then they should be scaled down to level 30 ( within 5 levels ) or something, and vice versa. Maybe design it so that ( on consoles ) none of the graphics are effected with 2 player. On pc if somebody can run ultra, and somebody can only run med, then it wont effect the other player. Maybe they can have quests only for parties of 2 or even 2-4 if its possible. Im sure they can figure it out. People think it would ruin the " experience " and feel of the game, but if they don't wanna play with somebody they don't have to. Have players be able to play multiplayer after they finish the main story.
Other ideas.
Bring back the stasts! Make players more customizable.
No more repetative quests. For example, there is lots of " fetch and bring it back quests. It gets tiring. Add unique adventures, better puzzles, add more dynamic explosion to the open world.
Better storytelling, longer main story. Better exploration.
Better guilds. More depth. Better character animation. Sprint jumping. Real time only mode. Have a game that loads only once. Console access to pc mods, formated by Bethesda for ES. Different transportation methods.
Do you guys have any idea of where the next Elder Scrolls will take place?
I hope Bethesda sees these ideas. Fans voiced their opinions about The Witcher 3 and its creators listened. Now its a candidate for game of the year.
Sorry for my sloppy rant. Hopefully I hear back from the community!
