Future Fallout Gameplay

In the next Fallout game, is the third person going to be better? Skyrim improved upon Oblivion's third person so that you can actually fight while in third person, but in New Vegas it's still a pain to try and fight in it. Also, when you move in Fallout it seems like you're just kind of sliding around the world and there's barely any friction at all. Also, are the mechanics going to be altered so that it actually plays like a shooter, but it's an RPG because right now it's an RPG with guns. I'm just wondering if there's going to be as much time spent on making the gameplay fluid as making the story elements.

Are you asking for the game to play out more like a shooter? I can't quite make it our of that.

If you are, why? Isn't game a first person shooter enough and aren't there enough shooters out there already?

Is there a law that says RPG's can't use guns?

that's really just an engine issue, it more or less guaranteed to improve when they start using a better engine. Also , i can't quite make out how you feel about guns in fallout either. decaf thought you wanted more shooter elements, but i thought you meant less shooter elements. clarification?

I don't like suggesting this but maybe 3rd person should have a auto-targeting system that depends on player's crippled arms, perception and combat skill?
Cause I find it incredibly awkward to shoot with a reticule over my own shoulder, even if it's accurate.

Let's stick to one topic as linked above. Thanks.
